Program Summary: To collaborate with youth civic organizations, including the Ari Movement and the Turkish Economic and Social Studies Foundation, to promote youth involvement in the civic and political lives of their communities. IRI will co-organize regional workshops and a second national youth conference to highlight the successes of the past year and urge continued participation. IRI will dedicate more resources to GencNet, a Web site that provides youth news and creates a virtual network that exposes them to the projects being carried out by NGOs in Turkey; and support anti-corruption activities!
